Behaviour at Deanshanger Primary School
At Deanshanger Primary School, we strive to be the best we can be. Our values are the glue that brings us together, providing a shared language and a consistent culture that is understood by all. These values run through everything we do – shaping how we behave, how we treat one another and how we approach challenges, both in and out of the classroom. Visitors to the school will see our values in action as they walk around, with both children and adults able to talk confidently about them and demonstrate them in their everyday interactions. We actively promote positive behaviour through a range of celebrations and awards, recognising and celebrating the many successes across our school community. When children need additional support in making positive choices, we follow clear, restorative approaches that help them reflect, learn and continue to grow, always guided by our shared values.
