  • Visit from Rt Hon Andrea Leadsom

    Published 18/11/22

We welcomed a visit from our local MP who ran a fun question and answer session with Mrs Rice and the children. It was a wet and cold day at Deanshanger Primary School, so it was nice to have an uplifting visit from Rt Hon Andrea Leadsom MP, Conservative Member of Parliament for South Northamptonshire. As part of the visit, Andrea Leadsom, MP, met our students in the main hall for a special assembly. Mrs Leadsom led the session with some fun facts about parliament and some funny stories for the children about Westminster. It was then handed over to the children to ask any and questions they had about politics and how it works. This was enjoyable for the children, and it was lovely to see some insightful questions being asked.
