Thursday 11th December - 4.00 pm - 7.00 pm

Join us for an evening full of festive fun! Enjoy games, crafts, delicious treats, and plenty of Christmas cheer. Visit Santa in his grotto, try your luck at our stalls, and soak up the seasonal magic with friends and family. Everyone’s welcome — it’s the perfect way to kick off the Christmas countdown!

Timetable: 

4.00 p.m. - Gate opens (Entrance and Exit will be through the school office gate) 

4.00 p.m. - Santa's Grotto Opens (Information below) 

4.00 p.m. - Food and Drink served from the kitchen in the hall (information below) 

4.40 p.m - 5.00 p.m. - Pie the Teacher or Gravy the Teacher (Mr Taylor) 

5.10 p.m. - 5.30 p.m. - Pie the Teacher (Mrs Arthur) 

5.40 p.m. - 6.00 p.m. - Pie the Teacher or Gravy the Teacher (Mr Bunting) 

6.10 p.m. - 6.30 p.m.  - Pie the Teacher or Gravy the Teacher (Miss Peers)

6.30 p.m. - Grand Raffle Draw (Prizes Below) and Tombola 

6.45 p.m. - Last entries 

7.00 p.m. - Fair finishes 

Santa's Grotto:

We are very excited to welcome Father Christmas to our Christmas Fair! He has requested the library as his home for the evening... he must be looking for some Claus-ic literature! 

Important information:

• Please make your booking via the PTA page: https://www.pta-events.co.uk/deanshanger/?event=event&eventId=107282 
• You will be asked to pick a 15 minute time slot. Please note your visit will be within that time slot (please do not try to visit Santa at another time). 
• Please queue in the corridor outside the library at your chosen time slot. 
• Children will receive a present from Santa and a free drink token. 

Stalls: 

• Food: There will be hot dogs, mince pies, popcorn and cakes available. There will also be vegetarian options.
• Drinks: Standard hot chocolate and deluxe hot chocolate (marshmallows and cream), mulled wine, squash and water.  
• Traditional Stalls Including: Guess the weight of the Christmas cake, Guess the name of the elf, Guess how many brussels in the jar, Hook a Bauble and Lucky Dip 
• Pie or Gravy the Teacher (£2 per pie or £5 for three pies OR £10 for a bucket of gravy) 
• Cake Stall
• Pick your nose - Choose the correct carrot to win a prize! 
• Lucky Lapland Squares - Can you guess where Santa has hidden the presents?!
• Snowball the Elf off the Shelf
• Reindeer Food Stall 
• Santa's Postbox 
• Raffle and Tombola 
• Rudolph's Antler's Ring Toss 
• Forest School Crafts 
• Fidget Toys and Small Gifts Stall 
• How many presents are in Santa's sack?
• Glitter Tattoos
• Second-hand books 

Please note the majority of stalls will be inside the school hall, studio/computing suite, library and the old Year 2 classrooms.

Raffle Tickets are 50p each. Available to purchase before and on the day.

Additional Information: 

• If you find a festive pinecone around the village, then don't forget to bring it along for a free go at selected stalls! (Please note this will begin Wc. 24th November).  
• Please note the staff car park is for staff and stall-holders only.
