Secondary Schools

The learning journey here at Deanshanger continues until the children complete year 6 near the end of July each year. At this point they are well prepared to move to various secondary school providers in the location although the application process for a year 7 place has to start much earlier.

If you are a parent or carer of a child living in Northamptonshire at the time of your application you should apply for a  secondary school place by 31st October (in their last year of primary education) although late applications are considered. When you apply for a secondary school place for your child you must submit 3 school preferences in order of priority. On 1st March during your child's year 6, you will receive a school offer.

The following brochure gives an extensive overview of options and processes to guide you through this next exciting phase of education.

It is always lovely when our former pupils come back and visit us and/or apply for a place for work experience.
